Hello My Name is Dan ... I used to be heavy into buggies in the 70's & 80's then got out of everything for a while. Then my boy got me hooked on rock crawling. We both had tricked out Suzuki Samurai's in the 2000's. When my wife and son passed a few years ago I got rid of everything. Recently I picked up a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee, (completely stock), as my "Weekend Mobile". As of right now I don't plan on super major rock crawling but trails like the squeeze and heart attack hill should be OK when I get a few mods put on the Weekend Mobile. I'm wondering if this stock Jeep will be allowed on any of the runs since it is pretty much stock ... I have the listed safety equipment, (CB Radio, First aid kit, Tow hooks, Etc.)

Welcome We pre-run most of our trail and we list the rating in the events description, we try and make it as clear as possible if a stock rig will have issues. See you on the trail.

Hello, my name is Rob and we moved here from Ohio(Go Buckeyes!) a few years ago. In Ohio I was an avid ATVer for 20+ years and love the great outdoors and exploring. When we moved I had to sell all my ATVs and a 95 YJ Now that Im out here and settled in, these mountains around me are begging me to explore them. For the past 6 months I have been glued to Youtube watching about these epic trails you all have here. I came across SDJC from watching Trailrecon videos and awesome job Brad! Now that I have watched ever video you all have I bought a 2017 Rubicon on Saturday! And boy do we love it! On Sunday I ran Main Divide road with my family and had a blast! It was a easy trail with great views! My wife and I are stoked to get back out there this coming weekend. I live around Lake Elsinore/Canyon Lake area and looking to go back out this weekend, so If anyone has a trail or trails they recommend that are somewhat easy let me know. My Jeep is all stock and Im a little nervous to try anything harder solo and not to mention Im from Ohio and we dont have these types of trails...lol Welcome to the club Rob. You have landed in off roaders heaven as we have Anza Borrego, salton sea, Valley of the moons, Mica gem Mine trail, Big Bear, superstition.... Find me on facebook as I am always leading trails

My Jeep:: 2017 Black JKU Rubicon
|
Post by marco on May 25, 2017 20:41:31 GMT -8
Hello, my name is Marco. I have a 2017 Rubicon JKU. No modifications yet.
I was a member of the Arizona Jeep Club and I went out with them a few times, years ago. I did a two day course at the Sedona Jeep School and that was very helpful. I have very little experience off-road but I'm looking forward to connecting with other jeep owners, having fun and learning.
Looking forward to joining you where a stock jeep can survive.
Thanks!
Marco.

Hello, my name is Bill. I am 51 years old and live near Southern Riverside County. I have recently purchase my very first jeep for me and my family to enjoy. She is a 2000 TJ with 130K miles, 33 inch mud tires and no suspension or body lift. I installed a DirtWorx front bumper and rear bumper/tire carrier/gas can carrier/trail basket. I have also raced dirt bikes and was once a member of the RUTS Desert Racing Club. I am looking forward to meeting other jeepers adn hoping to join on some of the rides.

My Jeep:: 92 Wrangler YJ

Post by 92wrangler on May 30, 2017 11:26:35 GMT -8
I've done some activities with SDJC and have had a blast every time. I drive a 92 Wrangler YJ mostly stock. It has a small shackle lift and I have a blast with it. I crawl around Ocotillo Wells most of the time, did some rock crawling in Big Bear and just recently went to the sound dunes at Butter cup.

Hello SDJC, First off thank you guys for doing what you do for the Jeep sport! I recently got bit by the Jeep bug while on vacation in Roauton Honduras, having never even driven a Jeep before, we rented one and drove all around the island, and I have been hooked ever since. Upon my return I feverishly set out to find my new toy, 4 months later I am now the proud owner if a 2017 JKU, and can't wait to meet and join in on the fun, just hope you have patience for a newbie!

My Jeep:: 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Sport RHD

Hello everyone! My name is Nate. I have owned my 2013 Jeep Wrangler for a little over a year now and I absolutely love it! I originally bought my jeep to use as a postal vehicle in the Lake Tahoe area that is why its a Right Hand Drive. Shorty after buying the jeep though, I took a different job down here in San Diego(not delivering the mail). I liked the jeep so much though I've decided to keep it. I've done a little off-roading in the Northern California area but none down here in SD. I'm definitely a beginner and would love to get out with the club sometime!
