I bought a small air compressor for airing up after runs. The first time I used it was on the Go Topless Run. I used the passenger side outlet. After I got all 4 tires aired up, I turned off the compressor. After a couple minutes, I decided to fill up a little more.
When I tried to turn back on my compressor, I had no power in the outlet. I used the driver side outlet (cigarette lighter; powered when Jeep is on) and I had juice. But when I tried the passenger outlet ("Power Outlet") again, I still didn't have any power. I looked at several fuses in the fuse box and found no blown fuses.
Could I have overloaded the wiring for the outlet and burned something out? Do I need to check other fuses? What else could be wrong?

have you tried it since? How did you check the fuse? Visual? Multi-meter? Test light?

I've tried the outlet since; no power. I pulled several fuses tied into the outlets and visually inspected them. No breaks in any of them. No test light. I have a multi-meter, and I'll research how to check the outlet in the morning.

I looked through my owner's manual (the dealer provided me with the old fashion book) and the power outlet fuses are located at cavity M7 20 amp yellow, and M36 20 amp yellow. Hope this helps. Q.

I would change the fuses anyways, sometimes you can have a small break and not even know.
