Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to wire up some electric fans so that the always stay running while the vehicle is on. The previous owner has them wired to a sensor that kicks them on for a minute or so at a time but the temperature gauge still reads about 210 and slowly climbs at idle I maybe wrong but I think thats a little hot, it's a 1999 xj

Hi CPGOSS, I'm running a Griffin Aluminum Pro Series Radiator, A Radiator Shroud +16" Electric Cooling Fan, Hard wired right to the ignition key, 40AMP 5 PIN12VOLT RELAY KIT FOR ELECTRIC FAN, Runs all the time, also added Mishimoto Liquid Chill Synthetic Engine Coolant, all this on a 2002 TJ 4.0 See pictures attached, Also ran a 6" fan under my hood to remove the heat, (HEAT KILLS) still runs in the 210-212 range on hot days. A note...I been through a lot getting my jeep to run cool, it"s doing outstanding now, but took a lot to get it this way. good luck.

Maybe just get a thermoswitch that comes on sooner.
