Hey all! Could you pls give an advice, where to mount Hi-Lift Jack on stock 2 door Wrangler? I don't want to put it on the hood, cause I'm sure I'll hit a hood on the first time when I decide to use my jack. How reliable and convenient is to mount it like on picture below? This mount seems me the best, but I'm not sure about putting additional load onto trunk door hinges.

If you are ever planning on adding larger tires the Teraflex HD carrier is a good option. You can buy an accessory mount that mounts a hi-lift, rotopax, and cb antenna.

I have also seen mounts for just under the rear section of your roll bar as well. This gets it out of the way and you can still, access it with the hard top or soft top on. Just search google for Hilift mounts for Jeep

Out of the weather would be best but space is always an issue when it comes to Wranglers. If you decide to go with an external mount make sure you take that jack off of there once a month or so and re-lube it for rust protection.

I also saw this when I was looking for locking options for the Jeep. They make a mount that will allow you to store it on either side (driver or passenger) on the outside of the Jeep. www.boltlock.com/shop/J-Mount---Passenger-Side,-Black/7028649/
