Can somebody lend me a hand with installing a set of 2x2 floods and 2x2 spots? Or maybe provide some guidance?
Do I just run one set of wires to the battery, and the other set of wires through the firewall into the cab?
Is it as simple as that? Not buying an A-Pillar switch for another few weeks.
I don't trust myself with electronics. :-(

do you have a switch? You are planning on a "A" pillar switch?

If your not doing relays it is just that simple. one piece of advice though is with LED's run your grounds straight to your battery.

Since you are getting an A-pillar switch in a few weeks, I would not drill the hole in the dash to mount the switch that comes with the lights. I still have my original switch on my dash, doing nothing. Just leave the switch loose, maybe secure it with zipties.

It's all aesthetic, so I don't mind right now.

Viridicon JK, Im selling Switch-Pros, I can give you a good price and also have installation available, with this Switch Panel you can have 8 switches and have different programing like flash mode and strobes, etc. Dont break your head on fuses, relays, cables to go to your cab, this system is super easy to install, also can be controled with an iPhone or Android via bluethoot with out buying extra harness like the sPod. If you want to see it I can show it tomorrow, more info call me (619)770-8079

That's a very cool concept. Right now after re-gearing and Jeep Fest, I'm trying to rebuild my Jeep Toys account. I'll keep this in mind though.

relays are used for higher power consumption if the switch can't handle the amperage or if you want the lights on ACC power meaning they will turn off when you turn off the Jeep even if the switch is in the on position. There are many other ways to use a relay but this is the basics.

The switch should be able to handle the amperage though, right?

Will I be ok to wire directly to the battery? I don't want to fry anything or drain my battery.

Threw em on. Looks good. I have a couple of feet in slack from the wiring that I just zip tied and sloppily placed around the battery.
